- WWW gives you the ability to eliminate Unix/primitive command
line interfaces, such that the learner does not have to focus on
nothing else other than the course being taught.
- When using such technology as a teaching/learning medium,
feedback becomes extremely important, mainly because if feedback
is not given by teaching environment, learner loses his/her focus
and starts to wonder what has happened to to the computer: 'Is it
really working ? Have I done something wrong ?'.
- Security issue, as it is, the Web is not safe, Java introduces
some level of security, but introduces communication problems. PC
users argue that software produced for PC platform is secure and
user does not have to worry about these problems.
- WWW needs to create typed hyper-links, so that threading does
not depend exclusively on descriptional text.
