We're just outside the Queen's house, fully equipped with
Prince Albert's Precipitating Flag, a remarkable technological feat up
with which our modern-day would-be weather-controllers have never
managed to catch.
As with most royal residences, the flag is flown to
show that the one who reigns is present. Now Bert was a lovely old
geezer, but he hadn't got the hang of his homophones, and that is why
the weather is always crap when the Queen's in town.
