| Comments | This was the first malt ever imported by The Gillies Club. It was imported in bottles which were, in fact, intended for the Italian market, and still had labels in Italian. Eight dozen bottles were imported. |

"The nose is firmer than the 8 year old. The malt and peat are the same, but the alcohol is less than the 8 year old" "The alcohol burns more in the 18 year old than the 8 year old, and this is the big difference.
