Comments This malt was tasted by members of The Gillies Club during their tour of the distilleries.
Members' comments "Big in nose and flavour. Well peated and malty. A good flavoursome whisky". "A big whhisky showing wood, peat and a litle caramel. A good malt". "Some peat - forceful. The alcohol is not excessive". "A highland malt with no alcohol. Similar to Glen Deveron but not as well balanced". "Light malt nose without alcohol. Very pleasant malt flavour with peat particularly at the back. Quite a full-flavoured whisky". "A big fine whisky, with more peat than expected. Dry. Reminiscent of Clynelish".
