| Comments | Bill Lark is a member of the Van Diemen's branch in Tasmania, and he has a distilling licence! The Lark distillery was founded in 1992 with the aim to produce premium malt whisky and native bush liqueurs.His Tasmanian Bush Liqueur, flavoured with the peppery Mountain Sugar Plum is becoming legendary in Australia. There is plenty of crystal clear water and peat in Tasmania, and the present 5 day old malt whisky was from his first distillation. It was tasted, but no points were allotted in October, 1992 Bill's still was, at the time. of about 18 gallons capacity, so his output is not great. We await his malt whisky maturation eagerly. |
