Comments This bottle was probably from the first distillation of the newly acquired Ledaig distillery, which was re-named Tobermory Distillery in the 1970's
Members' comments "May well improve with a couple more years, but not a great malt at the moment", "Not much character. Drinks thin. Alcohol dominates", "Poor", "Not what I would rate as a malt", "Bit too strong in spirit with very little aftertaste. Dry. Disappointing", "Not greatly distinctive, yet very pleasant light whisky", "Rather thin", "A pleasant enough whisky, but not distinctive", "A light peaty whisky without a great deal of character".
