If I have this right, Morrison Bowmore started with a private company, Stanley P. Morrison & Co who purchased Bowmore in 1963 then Glen Garioch in 1970. It aquired Eadie Cairns in 1984 and with it the Auchentoshan distillery and the Cairns blend. These acquisitions give Morrison Bowmore an island malt, a highland one and a lowland one respectively.
