Whisky Trails

Scotland offers the visitor two whisky trails.

By far the better known is the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail which is about 70 miles in length and takes in the 8 distilleries Tamnavulin, Glenlivet, Glenfarclas, Tamdhu, Cardhu, Glen Grant, Strathisla, Glenfiddich and the Speyside Cooperage at Craigellachie

Further details may be obtained from the British Tourist Authority and many other places.

Less well known is the Islay and Jura whisky trail which takes in Caol Ila, Bunnahabhain, Bruichladdich, Bowmore, Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Isle of Jura.
