Inchmurrin/Old Rhosdhu

No: 209
Producer: William Morton
Region: Highlands
District: Western Highlands
Map reference NS 39 80
Operating Status (1999): operating

Inchmurrin is a monastic island in Loch Lomond. Just south of the loch, albeit in surroundings that owe more to industrial archaeology, the single malt of the same name is made. The distillery is called Loch Lomond and it has a second malt, Old Rhosdhu Loch Lomond is able to make more than one malt because its pot stills are of an unusual design, and can produce whiskies of different weights.
