Why can't I get dinero to work?

A common problem is not specifying the -b, -i and -d parameters properly. All three must be specified in the command line for dinero to work properly.

Another common fault is to specify a file as the input source. However, dinero only accepts trace input from the standard input, so trace files should be either piped into it or files should be re-directed into using the ``<'' command line operator.
