PublicReengineering Wiki

Purpose

First of all, bear in mind that each WikiWeb has a purpose. In this case it is to host issues relating to the use of DolphinSmalltalk?. If what you want to say has no relevance to Dolphin then it probably belongs elsewhere; possibly in another WikiWeb.

Discussion

Also, the intention is to build up a wealth of information surrounding the use of Dolphin. I don't really intend that most of the pages in this web be used as general threaded discussion areas. There are places more suited to this mode of communication, such as the various newsgroups available. However, sometimes new ideas require lively discussion that should have more permanence than offered by the newsgroups. In such cases, I think it is permissible to create specific pages directed towards discussion. If you choose to do this then please add the page to the Discussions category.

Using HTML

The PublicReengineering WikiWeb can accept most of the common HTML tags as part of the WikiTextFormattingRules. However, try not to use too much HTML since this will make pages difficult to edit. Use of the HTML heading tags is a good idea and, for consistency, I would suggest making H2 the top-level heading within a page (one can consider the page title as being an effective H1 heading).

Signature

Finally, if you write in the first person then be sure to SignYourName after your piece.
