Informatics Systems at KB

The Informatics computing facilities at King's Buildings include over 300 machines, largely consisting of PC hardware running Linux. There are also Sun workstations running Solaris and PCs running Windows NT. This network is generally regarded as state-of-the-art and systems staff are active in research and development of systems administration.

We also have access to the supercomputers at the Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre.
