The Acrobat Reader (AR) has several bugs which can prevent you reading our PDF files. This is especially true of version 5.0 in Windows.

Please don't complain to us that it is the fault of our files!

If you have problems with AR 5.0, please downgrade to 4.x.

The recommended procedure (for all versions of AR) is to download the PDF files to your local hard-disk and open them from there using the main AR program (to do this in Windows, right click on the PDF link and select "Save target as"). The plug-ins for Internet Explorer and Netscape can fail for a variety of obscure reasons.
