Guidelines for submitting an ICSA technical report

If you want to submit an ICSA technical report then please follow these guidelines:

  1. Preferably, use our local cstechrep class for LaTeX2e to compile your report.
  2. If an ICSA technical report has been produced by a non-staff-member it should be approved by a member of staff.
  3. Marion MacDonald <mmd@dcs> maintains the ICSA reports and will assign a number to the report. This number is important and should appear on the front cover.
  4. You should print your report using the -Zbook,duplex printer options.
  5. IMPORTANT: Ensure that your report has a front cover and that the page numbers are the correct way around (odd numbers on the left and even numbers on the right). If you are unsure what an ICSA Technical report should look like take a quick look at a CSG report from the "Reports and Theses Room" (Room 1417), they are the ones with the red covers. The ICSA reports look much the same.
  6. Give a hardcopy and send an abstract of your report via email to Marion MacDonald <mmd@dcs>.
  7. Make a PostScript version of your report and an on-line copy of the abstract available to Murray Cole <mic@dcs> so that it can be included into the web pages of the ICSA. Please don't forget to tell him the number that is assigned to your report.
