Aberfeldy
56.37 ° N 3.54 ° W
Aberfeldy is a Grampian mountain resort and market town, high on the river Tay.
West leads to the village of Kenmore on Loch Tay, east leads to Ballinuig and
the major A9 trunk route to the North. Aberfeldy is in a pleasant setting
with the Tay alongside it and a picturesque valley to the south leading down
steeply through birch trees to the Tay. Downstream from Aberfeldy is
Grandtully, a popular spot for white-water canoeing and competitions.
