South of Perth and half way to Stirling this is a southerly distillery but still north of the Highland line. The location, Blackford, is just south of Gleneagles, is noted for its well-water and once produced famous ales. It was on the site of a former brewery that the Tullibardine distillery opened in 1949. In the 1970s it was taken over by Invergordon and largely rebuilt. Tullibardine is available as a bottled single malt with the distillery label.
