Audrey Tan used MLj servlets in some work at Persimmon on analysing event
streams from a server using a graphical functional language written in MLj.
It was pretty straightforward to do, as I recall, though we weren't trying
to do very fancy dynamic loading/mobile code things.
We used a Java web server written by someone at Hewlett-Packard's research
lab in Bristol http://hplbwww.hpl.hp.com/people/ak/java/nexus/ but anything
that implements the servlet API properly would do.
