1 The Harlequin License Server
MLWORKS_LICENSE to the value server in the shell from which you intend to start MLWorks up. For example, in the Bourne shell (sh) you would type:
MLWORKS_LICENSE=server export MLWORKS_LICENSEWhen this environment variable setting is in force and you start MLWorks up in the usual way, MLWorks will attempt to get a license from the license server.
For convenience, you can add these lines to the shell environment initialization file for your shell, which can be found in the env subdirectory of the MLWorks installation. Remember that you must still include this file in your .profile or similar shell initialization script to run it.
