1.2.1 License server program suite

The Harlequin License Server is distributed as a suite of three programs:

hqn_lsd
The Harlequin License Server daemon.

hqn_lsa
The Harlequin License Server administration tool.

hqn_cp
A utility script for changing permit details.

In the distribution, hqn_lsd and hqn_lsa have a suffix appended to their names which reflects the UNIX platform they run on. Thus in the license server distribution there are three versions of hqn_lsd:

hqn_lsd-sgi-irix5
hqn_lsd-sparc-solaris
hqn_lsd-sparc-sunos4
The same convention applies to hqn_lsa.

You should install the programs on a UNIX file system that is part of the network of machines in which you intend to use MLWorks. Put the programs in an appropriate directory, such as /usr/local/bin.

The distribution also contains a UNIX manual page for each program. Install these manual pages in a suitable man directory.
