Quite simply link to the following URL http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/home/slip0102A (site relative is /home/slip0102A) to go through the checks and intros or http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/home/slip0102A/main.shtml (site relative is /home/slip0102A/main.shtml) to go straight to the main page. Note that it's main.shtml.

I can't guarantee that any other URLs will stay static but I will post those that will here and I'm open to negotiation about any others.
