OSC at MPI Developers Conference

Local Area Multicomputer (LAM) developers present at the first MPI Developers Conference, a meeting for users, providers and anybody interested in MPI technology, on June 22-23, 1995 at the University of Notre Dame.


The Parallel Processing Development Group at the Ohio Supercomputer Center have released Local Area Multiprocessor (LAM) to the parallel processing and cluster computing community. LAM is a programming environment and development system for a message passing multicomputer consisting of network connected heterogeneous UNIX machines.
