Hi people,
sorry for the delay but here we finally have the match report corresponding to Friday the 5th of December 1997. Written by LAS FANATICAS (The Fans).
The public gallery was full, the spectators were anxiously waiting for the start of the games between the number twos and the number threes. Warming up took its time creating a great amount of expectation in the public. Finally, the number threes got on their way, for our team EL CAPITAN started the action, EL HOMBRE DE HIERRO was prepared to kill armed with their LOS MERENGUES uniform... soon after, following the longest warming up section since records begun, POR QUE YO started his game, immediately making his opponent think : ``Why me, why did I have to play against this guy?'.
Meanwhile in the public gallery nervousness attacked, the opponents were asking for the number five ... but LA DORADA had not yet arrived (oh oh!)... suddenly she made her appearance, totally exhausted but she was there. She only just had time to freshen up and have a drink before having to go on court. Yes, you guessed it, EL HOMBRE DE HIERRO and POR QUE YO, had finished with their opponents in only 3 games ... way to go!!! The public was going mad, the supporters wanted to see more. The linguistics crowed was getting angry, and they wanted to show this anger. MEDIAS ROJAS and LA DORADA were ready to attack. LA DORADA`s opponent showed his anger throughout the whole match, the amount of energy was such that he could hardly keep his clothes on. With shouts, ball bounces, aggresiveness and, O.K., perhaps some skill he manged to defeat LA DORADA (who has confessed in a private interview his this reporter that she wants to play againts this man again ... so keep watching this window). MEDIAS ROJAS on his court followed the example of EL HOMBRE DE HIERRO and POR QUE YO, and finished with his opponent in just three games, not even taking a break during the games.
Afterwards, we have learned that their was disatisfaction in the management of the team because MEDIAS ROJAS and LA DORADA had not worn their uniform. They have been warned that they should ALWAYS use their uniform in future matches.
You might wonder what happend with JR! Well he has arranged to meet his opponent in private during this week. Unfortunately, due to the confidentiality of the occasion we will not be able to report on this match.
After the victory the team and fans went to celebrate in an Italian restaurant, recommended by JR! Given that he was not present there were fears about the quality of the food and if there was another reason behind the absence of JR and not just the postponement of his match. Fortunately, there were no casualties to lament and the team and fans had a great dinner.
