I have been a PhD student in the Division of Informatics/Department of Computer Science at Edinburgh University since 1994 where I am also a member of the Database Group and the Institute for Computing Systems Architecture. My main research interests are prefetching techniques for object-oriented databases. My supervisor is Dr. Peter Thanisch. A departmental prize winner Poster gives an overview over my work.
