Once development is over you can build a fast, compact, standalone executable version of your application. The delivery mechanism offers the usual advantages of a batch-compiled language such as C, even though you can invoke the delivery mechanism from within the interactive environment. The delivery mechanism links a compact ML runtime into an executable with your application code.
