Interact with Psychology/Education and Heriot -Watt's ICBL in order to devise a method for measuring Distance Computer-Mediated education effectiveness. The main point here is not to prove distance education effectiveness, since this has been proved already, several institutions all over the globe run programs, full degrees, based on distance education, and the numbers are a proof on itself. Our research will be directed towards the investigation of the WWW/Internet as a medium/environment for distance education delivery.

02/96-08/96:

Interact with EPcc and other known projects which are currently running or have run experiments on our area of interest, and:

• Establish their projects' current status
• Implement if necessary some modifications to their distance education environment
• collect data and analyse
